Welcome to Note It, an application engineered by Veridicus Lab ("we," "us," or "our"). Your privacy is the foundational cornerstone of our design philosophy. This Privacy Policy is created to be simple, absolute, and transparent.
This policy explains what information we collect (in brief: we collect zero personal data), how your notes are handled, and your rights.
2. The Core Principle: Your Notes Are Yours
Note It is designed from the ground up as a strictly private, offline-first application. The fundamental architecture guarantees that what you create in the app stays exclusively on your physical device.
3. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect, store, transmit, or monetize any personal information or user-generated content:
- No Account Required: You never need to sign in, provide an email, name, phone number, or biometric identifier.
- Your Notes & Content: The notes, text, images, checklists, or metadata you create are written directly to your device's local sandboxed file storage. We possess zero access to this storage.
- No Analytics or Tracking: Note It does not include tracking pixels, behavioral analytics tools, telemetry agents, or third-party advertising SDKs.
- No Cloud Sync by Default: We run zero server infrastructure that copies, indexes, or reads your notes.
4. Device Permissions
Note It requires only minimal permissions essential to its core features:
- Storage / Media Access: Needed only to save and retrieve your notes, attachments, or export backups locally on your device.
- Camera / Microphone (Optional): If you choose to attach photos or voice memos to notes, permission is requested at runtime solely for capturing media directly into your note.
5. Data Security
Because all data resides locally on your device, the security of your notes is anchored to your device's built-in operating system encryption, passcodes, and biometric lock features. We encourage keeping your device OS updated.
